Your tool usage
The Tool usage screen shows the tool calls your own clients have made through the MCP gateway: how many, through which connectors, and for which tools.
Unlike model usage, there is no budget attached. Tool calls are counted for visibility rather than capped, so this screen is about understanding your own activity rather than staying within a limit.
What it is for
Two practical uses.
Checking that a connector works. After enabling a connector and pointing a client at it, a call appearing here is the confirmation that the whole path is functioning. Nothing appearing means the client is not actually reaching the gateway, which is usually a configuration problem in the client.
Trimming what you have enabled. A connector you enabled and never call is adding tools to your client's choices for no benefit. See Your connectors for why that matters.
Next steps
- Your connectors to enable or disable what your clients see.
- Connect a client if calls are not appearing here.
